Wishing for formatting changes

I really love Google Docs and I am so grateful for it. But I really wish it was possible to apply a template after I have built my document rather than being forced to choose a template at the time of creation and then being stuck with it.

I also wish it was possible to format the “Normal” font within the app so that my formatting changes would cascade throughout the rest of the document.
