Google Docs: Sync, Edit, Share App Reviews

Im a student, so of course I have to write essays and such. But a lot of the time, someone else is busy on the computer. So this app is great for typing the documents really quick. Its not so nice for printing, but I just wait until the computer is free and then print it that way. Overall, its pretty helpful.

Is a great way to access my documents in school. But I wish it had voice typing

The app is great, i love google docs. I have only one suggestion, when you go in landscape mode to write on iphone, you cannot zoom out to see more of the document. You can only see and work with 2-3 lines which is very annoying and hard to read. My suggestion is to make it able to zoom out when you pinch, thats it

I love it, its a very useful and helpful app. You can type your school essays on your phone without any trouble and then print it at school when you need to. I do all my school essays on here.

very easy and useful

I absolutely loved this app. I used it often and it worked well besides the text being a little too large. Then all of a sudden I couldnt even open the app. It crashed when ever I tried to open it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Please fix this in the next update.

Didnt really like the app at first but the new updates have really improved it in quality and smoothness.

The Google Docs app has helped me with many,many things, the first one is that it has helped me with my school work, if the computers at my school dont work, then I can just open my phone and I can still work on my school projects. The second reason is that it has helped me in arguments against anyone, I can just look at all of the fonts in alphabetical order.

Im using Docs to write and store my novella and find it very convenient to work across my devices. I really like that my manuscript is saved in the cloud and I no longer have to worry about keeping track of a thumb drive or even emailing attachments every time I add new chapters to my document. And to boot, the app lets me also work offline when Im not connected to wifi. The only difficulty Ive had working on my manuscript this way stems from deficiencies of iPads keyboard and has nothing to do with the Doc app itself, and indeed wouldnt be an issue if I could just find my darn Bluetooth keyboard :)

This app used to be OK for projects and stuff like that. But it was always frustrating. A few days ago I would have given this app a 3 star rating. But now it only lets me type 3 sentences and sometimes only 3 letters and then it said a problem occurred and the app shuts on me. This app has many other problems too but the shutting is the main problem. Please fix it.

Im a huge fan of Google Drive and Google Docs. It has made collaborating in my business so much more efficient and effective, and the easy file sharing ability and organization of the platform is truly first rate. Thank you, and keep up the good work, Google!

How I got this site is by my school my school dose it and I use doc all the time

Yet another update, and the problems I have with Google Docs are still there. Im a huge fan of the Google Docs via desktop browser, but this app is so slow on my iPad as to be unusable. Keystrokes take so long to register that they lag almost a sentence behind, and Im not a speedy typist. Granted, my iPad is not the latest or greatest, but Pages and Word dont lag like that, nor do Notes, Keep, or Ulysses. What gives? And whats with the unnecessary extra row of functions on the keyboard? It takes up too much space, and there is blank space on the iOS keyboard where those the functions could be put. Pages, Word, and Ulysses do that, why cant Docs? The outline feature nice, but not much use to me if I cant type with it the app. Also, why no document header/footer or pagination? Why is there both a "page preview" and a "page layout view" that appear to do the same thing? Why does the keyboard cover the bottom paragraph or so of text when I tap the edit icon, instead of the text scrolling up and out of the way? The desktop web version of Docs is maybe my favorite word processor of all time, but this iOS app is disappointing and uncharacteristic of all the good stuff Google offers. Its just... well, janky and slow. Please, Google, fix it. I really want to use Docs, but in this statement Docs is seriously outclassed by its competitors.

I love that it has no limits on anything, and it does not need WIFI. I can simply type something up on my iPad, then print it out on my computer! It also doesnt need a flash drive to save data, and I can use it on the go!

Its a great app very efficient and works very good.

Very intuitive and user friendly. I love that it saves automatically as you type. I am using this to travel plan with friends in another country. The time zone difference made it difficult before we started using Google Docs. Im going to start using for a family shared grocery/errand list.
