Problems with documents with multiple languages

A document with more than one language caused spellcheck to underline every word on pc, freezes app on iOS. Solved by copying whole text into notepad to strip data and pasting into a new document. Document was created through Copy function (under File). Really wish there was a way to switch between at least two documents I am editing without first closing one. All the scrolling is quite tedious. It would be cool if there were tabs or some other way to quickly access a few recent documents
