Pros and cons of Google Docs: Sync, Edit, Share app for iPhone and iPad

Google Docs: Sync, Edit, Share app good for

Es lo mejor. Puedo hacer cambios y ver los comentarios de mis compañeros de clase. Así, uno puede sacar calificaciones buenas.
••••• by chayim I was using MS Word, which albeit is far more advanced, but all those extra do-dads were getting in the way of what I need: a streamlined word processor that I could use out of the box!
I’m a 13 year old boy who goes to school and i use google docs to white everything in class i find it absolutely fantastic
I use it in school a lot quand on paler français (when we speak French) and it is really good. ?
It is extremely helpful with organization and is much more reliable then a jump drive.
I love this app. It lets me take notes and organize documents that need to be shared. I use it all the time. However, i do wish It had some other features. As an editor for a web novel, I often use the “make suggestions” feature. It would be so much easier and smoother to use if it didn’t have to be in print view. It’s fine on the desktop, but if I’m unable to use my computer and have time to kill with editing, I wish it was possible to do the suggestions from standard app view. It also makes the suggestions really unwieldy in app view when trying to review them from the author’s standpoint.

Some bad moments

Google celebrates every holiday besides the ones that Christians celebrate. They go crazy for ramadan but nothing for Easter or Christmas. I will never use your services again. From now on, I will be using DuckDuckGo as my search engine. This is what you get for alienating many of your users.
- I need the drawing option to take notes with my apple pen, but the docs app on ipad doesn’t have that drawing option. - Also, all of the mathematical equations added when using docs on my laptop, disappear when I open the same docs on Ipad. Please fix these 2 things. Thank you
I used to be able to use a password to restrict access but now my Google Docs is always open
just so y’all can get your numbers up. Make it available to make minor edits in your web browser. It used to be available back in the day, now it forces you to download this app. If I already have drive downloaded anyways I don’t want to have to install this thing too.
If you are at all use to using Google Docs, the Docs iOS application is terrible to the point of unusable. Let’s say you want to view two docs at once. You have a composition in one and some facts and figures in another. Nope. Only one iOS instance at at time. I’m appauled. Let’s say you have a table of contents in your google doc and you want to update it to reflect the edits of colleagues. Nope. The Refresh icon is not only no where to be found, the Docs app doesn’t even recognize the TOC as a thing (i.e. it’s not clickable) Even worse, Google has disabled access to web-based google docs forcing you into this horror of a program when your using an iPad. Ok, I’ve gone from appauled to infuriated.
My concern is not limited to Apple infrastructure but also Amazon and Google. This limited functionality is a very unfair business practice, who are you to tell me what hardware i should use to access the internet or view my PURCHASED content. Whenever i purchased a sony dvd, took it home and hooked it up to my TV. Believe it or not, it actually plays DVDs that aren’t produced by SONY studios!! How is it not a monopoly to produce a product that only performs the functions advertised when used on a platform it chooses. Would you buy a car that only works at one gas station? I don’t know if its Google, Amazon, Apple or all that is doing this, but I’m awfully tired of customers being the last voice in the products they get to use. Get over it!! I should be able to access my purchased digital media from whatever device I choose and look at all of it in the same library, regardless of where i bout it. I should also be able to access my digital files and document, using their proper functions regardless of what device I’m using and what cloud i save too. MY HARDWARE SHOULD NOT BE CONTROLLING WHAT DATA I DECIDE TO KEEP!! Google Office products should have full functions on Apple and Amazon products. Likewise ITunes files should be able to be used on Amazon and Google products!! Let your consumers control the property they purchase!!! Why is that a bad thing!! Oh, and why can we not rate and review apple apps on the App Store? You would think a company would want their customers to be able to share their opinions on its products with each other. I’m hoping that’s just a glitch with my iPad because if not that’s pretty shady.
