Love google bringing the gift of “voice typing” to Google Docs allowing us to be our creative selves. Being dyslexic the only thing I miss is the ability to use my Apple “text to speech” to review my document. In addition, the “find” feature on the iPhone mobile app doesn’t work you type it in and then Google doc shuts off. Bring it to Gmail!

PLEASE FIX THE BUG WHEN SEARCHING FIT A WORD THE APP CRASHES AFTER TYPING ONE LETTER. BUG HAS BEEN PRESENT FOREVER DESPITE AND UPDATES.

Can’t upload pictures and have them actually show up, have to go and press needless buttons just for it to not be pageless. Insanely annoying.

The tab feature is horrible on mobile and it blocks the page! Make it so you don’t have to see it on mobile

I am disappointed that I can read other’s comments on google drive document, but I cannot add a comment. Will this ever become an option?

1. Can there be dark theme when we’re on the computers and also a dark theme for the print and layout? 2. For the locking documents can you make it when no one can see the documents even when they are locked? Because others can still see the documents and I don’t want that .

As help me talk to text since high school very effective for individuals learning how to organize writings of all forms, creativity, productivity, academia, and organization of notes files, and documents

I worked for 3 hours on a file and it became blank. Version histories are also blank. I miss good old reliable word processors like non-cloud MS Word. Google is so overly focused on getting everything into its cloud, it froze when my file got too big. It wouldn’t even allow me to edit it or download a copy. I’m so disappointed that I will never use Docs again, except for simple stuff that is okay to lose, or that I want to collaborate with colleagues on.

When typing and filling up the first page then rest of the typing section is extremely low and it doesn’t give the freedom to move the page up, and i always have to move page up every single time. It’s very annoying, please fix this issue. Thank you.

I can’t get rid of a confidential document even though I have deleted Google Docs and reinstalled several times. It keeps showing up in “last used.”

I love writing. And I have google docs on my computer, but not on my iPad. With the other people in my family using the computer, the time I get on it is very limited. And my iPad is my own personal device. And I use it a lot! So I downloaded google docs on my iPad. It is amazing. I would recommend. It’s great to do work on the go, write stories and just write! I have a lot of docs and the funny thing is I never ever run out of storage! It’s hard to describe how much I love it in words. In conclusion, great app, no quirks, and it is just soooo amazing! Sincerely, a 10 year old

Bad experience when typing Can’t navigate or move to the next page like how you move freely on Microsoft word

App keeps force closing on my iPad Air when I attempt to use search feature. Barely able to use it

I cannot do anything. I want to change the font? Can’t. Want to make text bigger? Can’t. Please add more features to the app. Maybe make it more like the web version. Please, I beg of you.

I have been using word Docs for a very long time. And for the last 2 to 3 years, I cannot utilize the find and replace feature of the app because every time I go to click the first letter the app crashes on me. I would think that after two or three years of using this app, somebody else would have possibly had the same problem and reported it and that someone would have fixed it by now. I love the app, but I am not very pleased with that particular problem that I’m having . I just did the update that’s supposed to fix bugs and glitches or whatever the thing is But it didn’t fix that one. Someone needs to get on it and fix it so that I can use it to search my documents For something without having to scroll the entire document manually to look for something. It’s asinine. Somebody please give attention to this and let me know by message or email or whatever that it’s been done. Because if you can’t fix it, then I don’t need it, and then I will have no choice, but to utilize And transfer all of my information over to that one and delete yours.

It’s so nice o find the Google Docs on the cloud works years later, even on my iPhone! I miss my droid.

On iphone, for "find and replace", or ctrl + f, typing "e", the most popular letter as an example, in large docs of maybe 8000 words will crash the docs app. The most popular review on here says that already.

Lifesavers for the idealist

For years, our family has been using Google Docs to plan for our family vacation trips and share among members so they can add feedback suggestions places to go. It's really wonderful to have this free service. Thank you Google!

I recently got an ipad and a keyboard to use for school thinking I could essentially use it as a computer. Unfortunately, I prefer writing in Google Docs and I find the ipad app to be surprisingly insufficient. On desktop, I know exactly how to do everything I need to (add headers, page numbers, change formatting, etc.). On this app, however, I am constantly needing to search the internet for “how to do ___ in google docs app.” Honestly disappointing. I wish it just had the same taskbar at the top as it has on desktop.

Use it everyday. The best innovation after Excel, totally revise the way of collaboration and documentation.
