Great mobile solution for my schoolwork!
Google docs has helped me out of more jams than I can count with my schoolwork. For starters, because the computers at my work restrict my access to personal webmail and other services including google docs, I frequently have my laptop out at work on my breaks. Working for the federal government puts more restrictions on a person than just the access to what we have on computers. Google docs helps me with access through my phone when my time is restricted, and I dont have time to get my laptop out. My iPhone is particularly accurate at voice recognition, for which I have written/spoken many English papers. Sometimes I have to be on the work floor waiting for 10 to 20 minutes for work to get started, and having access on my phone I dont lose any productivity by picking up right where I left off on my laptop; not wasting any time. Essentially Google Docs is and has been a time saver. Google docs has also been an incredible tool for study groups in my college courses, and writing assignments with my colleagues simultaneously in real time; which has saved me tremendous amounts of headaches in regards to teamwork assignments in classes. Something I wish more college students would become familiar with as a tool for doing group assignments. I cant stress enough the amount of help it has been in study groups and group assignments. I wouldnt recommend this next part to anyone who struggles using a speakerphone or ear piece while they drive. I have used my iPhone microphone voice recognition through my earpiece to write notes and papers during long work commutes. But I dont recommend doing anything but driving during major rush hour traffic.
