I love that multiple people can access the same document to make changes. Its great for tag teaming taking notes in college! Also love the fact that everything saves automatically consistently throughout your work so you dont have to worry about losing what youre doing and you have access to it everywhere! Love love love. Wont use anything else.

It automatically saves, has a large variety of fonts and page formatting settings, and an intuitive and user friendly interface, I can’t think of anything wrong with it. (And it’s free :D)

If I didn’t have the Google Docs app, I would be failing college right now. Life saver & handy app. Love it!

Is there any way to use google docs without having to go through the app on your mobile device? Pretty annoyed it crashes every time I try to open it

Google docs is fantastic! A great way to collaborate on documents and to store them!

Great app great share feature. There are some quirks to the mobile app but google seems to be improving every day.

Love it you really should by it

If I had the choice, I wouldn’t use this app at all. But the organization I am in requires me to. The app is painful to use on my iPad because of the terrible lag when typing. The time it takes for a letter to appear on screen is about 1 second. It is so annoying. There is also noticeable lag for doing everything. From formatting, to copying, it is all very slow even though I am right next to the wireless router with fast internet. So don’t use this app at all. Use Pages instead.

Its one of my favorites to use since I am a author.

It helps me with my hw, but sometimes it just automatically doesn’t work correctly, but in overall, it works just fine.

Google photos has been saving pictures from my phone without my permission or me even having the app downloaded on my phone. I feel their practice of automatically adding this feature to my phone and no clear opt-out option to be an extreme violation of privacy.

The app is great, but it’s missing something. On Microsoft Word, there was a feature where you could view the pages of your document side by side like a book. This would be really helpful to book writers who want to view their work the way a reader would. If Google Docs had this feature, it would be complete!!

I love the web interface for Docs, but this app has a number of problems that make using Docs from an iPad positively painful. The custom text view the developers have implemented is seriously under-performant. Moving the cursor with two fingers on the on-screen keyboard is 60fps in all other apps, but in Docs is slow — and slow can mean inaccurate when the position updates after the user has removed their fingers from the screen. Frustrating garbage. The delete key, on the on-screen keyboard or Bluetooth, often deletes more than one character with a single press. Delete key, you had one job. Many of the tools present in the web version of Docs seem either absent or hidden too deep in the interface. In practical terms, this version is missing features. I wish I could love docs. In the current state, I use it only when I have to because a collaborator is locked into it.

the quick access to Google Docs from my phone is convenient! I can start working on essays and research papers that I have for school from anywhere on my phone. I like that I can use the microphone feature so that I can speak my words that need to be written down instead of typing them.
