My rating
It’s good, but it keeps crashing on me and the pictures I put on disappear
Good but. . ..
I think google docs on the tablet for apple should be able to copy and paste and cut too, I can only paste, but it’s amazing for writing my story!
Works well
The app works well.
Great mobile solution for my schoolwork!
Google docs has helped me out of more jams than I can count with my schoolwork. For starters, because the computers at my work restrict my access to personal webmail and other services including google docs, I frequently have my laptop out at work on my breaks. Working for the federal government puts more restrictions on a person than just the access to what we have on computers. Google docs helps me with access through my phone when my time is restricted, and I dont have time to get my laptop out. My iPhone is particularly accurate at voice recognition, for which I have written/spoken many English papers. Sometimes I have to be on the work floor waiting for 10 to 20 minutes for work to get started, and having access on my phone I dont lose any productivity by picking up right where I left off on my laptop; not wasting any time. Essentially Google Docs is and has been a time saver. Google docs has also been an incredible tool for study groups in my college courses, and writing assignments with my colleagues simultaneously in real time; which has saved me tremendous amounts of headaches in regards to teamwork assignments in classes. Something I wish more college students would become familiar with as a tool for doing group assignments. I cant stress enough the amount of help it has been in study groups and group assignments. I wouldnt recommend this next part to anyone who struggles using a speakerphone or ear piece while they drive. I have used my iPhone microphone voice recognition through my earpiece to write notes and papers during long work commutes. But I dont recommend doing anything but driving during major rush hour traffic.
Use it.
Docs has the integration to ease formatting issues.
REALLY helpful
I use this app a lot. It is really helpful when I need to turn in assignments.
Amazing app!!
This is the most helpful thing in the world. I can access and work on projects for school anytime and its a good way I can stay organized!
it’s really good for group projects
One of the best apps ever
Works well on iPhone 6
A great way to share/edit across platforms. The offline feature is pretty helpful as well.
It’s different than on a computer.
It doesn’t work for iPads that well. It just goes back to the homepage when you tap on the app. And I payed 3.00 for it. And it just wouldn’t go. I called the apple company and asked them what to do about it, because I need it for homework ? I’m 12. But after I got the iOS.11 update or whatever the number is it worked as good as new. I’d suggest it for anyone that got the iOS.11.
Great app to have!
As a student, I use Google Docs almost daily! when I need to look at a doc but not near my computer Google Docs does great and is very user friendly! If you are looking for a way to make documents fast and easy... Google Docs is for you!
Google Docs AMAZING
Google docs is awesome on the iPad and I love using this. It is so much fun getting to type on something other than on a laptop
Keyboard lag
I’m starting to feel like a broken record, but...still has pretty bad typing lag. Here’s the thing. I can make typing bearable by opening a new or very small document and typing there instead, then copying and pasting it over once I get to a computer. Unfortunately this isn’t feasible if you want to edit things that have already been written into a document, only if you want to add to it. Still, it’s *possible*. But you better remember exactly what was in the original document. I have some large documents, and most of my Google Docs activity (from mobile anyway) is adding text. So this workaround is fine (though still annoying) until I want to reference something in the document I’ll be copying and pasting this new text into. Maybe the exact words of a specific conversation I wrote a few months ago. Maybe one character’s appearance during a specific scene. I close my workaround doc and open the original, the large one with the typing lag. It takes at least a minute to open. I get that. There’s a lot of stuff in there. A lot. I don’t expect it to be instant. I just want to be productive. But at the end of the day, with all this referencing back to the large document, waiting on the order of minutes for it to load, then closing it and reopening the new document just so I can type without debilitating lag…it would have been quicker just to type two letters at a time into the original document and hope for the best. I really hope there is a fix for this issue as, like I said before, I haven’t found such powerful, intuitive formatting options from mobile anywhere else. I would love to use them. This app is listed under productivity…but I mostly use it for reading other people’s work now.
Best tool for Working while traveling
What a life saver! No more waiting to get in front of my computer to create or access any document. I just pull out my phone and open Docs and within seconds I’ve got my ideas down.
Google Docs and iPhones
I love being able to continue my work by using my phone. It can be harder at times, but the ease of having access to my Google docs on any device is amazing and efficient.
Google docs

Excelente aplicación
Me encanta!!!
Great interactive app
well done!
Loss of security NOT acceptable
I loved this app and used it and other Google Drive apps for almost everything. Now that Google has removed the passcode lock it is not secure to use; stating that the passcode to one’s device is sufficient is false. I respectfully request that Google restore passcode lock on the iPad and iPhone apps.
